Hi guys... I need help on the mental side of golf.. When I get going I really do well and shoot level par or sometimes even under par.. But when I make a mistake it goes horribly wrong and I end up shooting 10 over or something like that.. Guys can you give me advice on how to keep my mind cool and focus after a bad hole.. Or any websites that I can go to?? Thanks!!!

Hi There,
Your problem is very common amongst golfers, even more so amongst those golfers who play well physically and their handicap has come down quickly because they’ve often focussed so hard on the physical game, they haven’t had chance to take stock and think more about the mental side of golf.
Once these players start on some kind of golf mental training problem they see a HUGE improvement in consistency in their golf game and because of this, their enjoyment of the game increases exponentially.
There are two ways I would suggest that you start using to train your golfing mind. The first one, a quickie that you can carry around with you in your pocket is ‘Golf Is Not A Game of Perfect’ by Bob Rotella.
The second solution, one that I use myself and recommend to friends and clients etc , is to start yourself on this long term golfing mind course Golf Mental Training Program.
Check them both out, you won’t look back!
Hope this helps,
