I am planning on transferring to Texas A&M Engineering from another college.
These are my grades from my first 2 semesters of college.
Next semester I want to get into TAMU. Do I have a good chance of getting in?
International Relations - A
Calculus - A
Physics -B
Honors Art - A
Philosophy - A
Psychology - A
Intro to Engineering - A
Japanese - A
Chemistry - A
First Aid/Safety/CPR - A
English - A
Geology - A
SAT SCORE - 1700
I also have a lot of extra curricular activities:
High School Golf Team.
Treasurer in the Center for the study of Local Issues
And more...
I want to apply but if TAMU has too high of standards I want to know if I should just apply at other lower standard engineering colleges.
Thank you.
Also, is there anything else I can do to get a higher chance of getting into this college?

Lets face it, valentines day is mainly for the women. Me and my boyfriend are very modern, both studying psychology and sociology degree's at uni and 'not follow the crowd' sort of people. For example we're planning on him being the house husband/stay at home dad and me with a big career. Yet he still insists on making the plans, going all out and them being a surprise every valentines e.g. going go-karting, golfing, he cooks, rose petals round house, massages etc. I'm personally fine with it being equal (him one year, me the next) but he doesn't allow it. Got me thinking if guys really actually truly like this day of spoiling the girls or do in fact wish it was more equal??

I love my boyfriend deeply. (I am 20, so please do not tell me that I do not tell me I am to young to be in love)
However, I keep getting extremely depressed because I keep thinking that he is too good for me, and that he can do better than me.
He is a member of Mensa for one. (something for the people with the top IQ..) and is going to become a math professor, graduating a year early with a almost perfect gpa. He also plays hockey and golf.
Me? I am simply only a criminal justice major in college who is behind on credits because I had to take the non credit math (I am horrible at it) with a minor in psychology. (I am rather pathetic.. I want to help others but I cant even help my self through this situation.) with only a 3.0 out of a possible 4.0
I have talked to my boyfriend about this several times, but nothing he says changes how I feel about myself. I still keep thinking he can do better. The thing is, everyone i talk to about him says " Wow! what is he doing dating you!?" which hurts a lot more than people mean it to.
Here's another thing: I am his first girlfriend (He is going to be 21) He said he never really found interest in any girl before. I met him on a dating site..
So I am afraid that we are not going to work out because I am his very first girlfriend (Even though he says he loves me from the bottom of his heart, and someday hopes to spend the rest of his life with me)
Please help.. I am driving myself insane. I love him more than anything and I don't want to loose him because of these feelings I have.

If your 15 year old got suspended for fighting would u blame that he watched UFC fights on TV and didnt get picked for the Varsity baseball team and had some aner over that and blah blah blah. Or would you give your kid a kick in the azz and tell them to get their shiat straight and spend more time with them ect.
If your 12 year old had sex and got pregnant would you blame britney spears? Is it "American Eagles" fault for selling short shorts? Or do you blame the fact that you've been too involved with work and golf lately? And that you really should have monitored her myspace usage more to see who she was talking to and what she is up to? SHould you have not let her stay over betty annes without talking to betty's parents first to check things out?
There is a term in psychology called "personal efficacy". Basically it means how much an individual takes resonsibility for themselves and things they are to care for (like children). It kills me every day that there are stupid women who win millions because they bought a hot coffee that they carelessly spilled on themselves.
It kills me that when a 10 year old weighs 200lbs because he eats at mcd's 3 times a day everyday that it's the chains fault for not listing at content. Because everyone doesnt already know that 90% of the food they sell will give u a heart attack 10 minutes after digesting it.
WHen did parents stop parenting and making it everyone elses job? I really just want to know. Why is you kids well being the problem of everyone else?
MOM-I said a stupid woman because 4-5 years ago a stupid woman spilled her hot hot mcd'ys coffee and tried to sue because it was hot and she burned herself with it.

but this is not quite what he meant...

There are many techniques
some spread joy to the world
and others just spread cheeks
Some think the cardiologist

The most popular sports in the US are basketball, football, baseball & golf. Mostly males play & sports are a source of major competiton & aggression b/w the players and the crowd.
Symbolically speaking why are all the big balls brown and small balls white?
I know it's sounds weird, but it's a theory in psychology.
